RONI MEDINA

Singer
Roni Medina was born on December 2 in Mexico and was raised in Houston, Texas. She became fascinated with the world of music at the age of 11 and has been singing ever since. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and completing an internship at Telemundo in Atlanta, she landed a freelance position at CNN en Español, Roni made the daring decision to leave CNN to concentrate on her musical career. She participated in two indie films and the first season of Step Up: High Water in 2017.  Her first single “No Puedo Mas” was released in March 2018 followed by her first original music video that premiered on Univision in May. She then went on to release her second single, “Ella” in June.  Some of Roni’s most highlighted performances include the HoPE Conference, Hispanic Georgia Chamber of Commerce Gala, and has sung the National Anthem for the Braves and the State of the County Address in Dekalb, GA. In March 2019, she performed for the first time in Mexico.  Roni released her third music video cover, “Algo Mas” in May 2019 and is currently working on her first EP that has an anticipating release of September 2019.  Concocting mixes of Latin Pop with an Urban sound of reggaeton have become both a challenge and fascination that excites the creation of her music. Roni will be singing on top of Arabia Mountain and accompanied by Aimee on the Guitar showing her versatility as a singer.
